Saved Designs Disappearing

My workaround has been publishing unfinished designs as private only. They are visible in the backend so I can come back to them later.

Today is the 5th and still no change.. saved designs are still disappearing. Any Moderator here to come help us with answers. This is tripling the amount of work that needs to be done if we keep losing the saved designs. We have to keep recreating everything from scratch and it's gruesome work 😓.. Team Z please help!! 🆘

You can bookmark your unfinished design when you work on it and come back to it that way.  You can also search your History file for the unfinished item, then bookmark it. I've done both and it works but I hope they fix the Saved Designs problem soon!

I am still having the problem of designs not saving, but now there is a new wrinkle.....I had recently sold a Zippo lighter so I thought I would create some more....I created six and they went to Under Review where they stayed for several days...One finally showed up in my store and now the rest have disappeared...they're not in my store or in my Saved Designs...this is very frustrating .....

Same goes for me. I have been trying to upload my designs last 10 days and nothing is saving, I emailed to Zazzle and their answer was the same as above nothing changed?

I'm having mixed success...working on a wedding suite, and so far, invitations and save-the-dates are saved, but menus and response cards are not. I'm going to assume my work earlier this week is irretrievable and will have to be redone. I would highly recommend that you bookmark every in-progress design moving forward.

I'm still having design save issues and have been working from my bookmarked designs but while working on sorting the bookmarks the platform seen me as spamming and now i've had to do the press and hold the button thing 😕 and failed miserably im now locked out ...

Today my designs are not being saved.

My day at Z today: First, the designs were not saving or updating in their folder. I have to say that this happened with transferred designs; the original design was not published. I kept transferring with the idea of leaving them in tabs and/or favorites and updating them when possible. I spent a large part of the morning on a calendar, and suddenly an error message appeared. When I refreshed, all my work had disappeared—no tabs, no favorites, no history. There is no trace of it anywhere. My hope is that it’s in some hidden limbo and will appear eventually. Right now, I feel incapable of redoing the design with its photos and texts. I will wait before doing it again. The rest of the day, I was updating old designs and publishing without any problem. These are designs that stay residually, for reasons unknown to me, in the Designs in Progress folder. Well, I can always take advantage of the texts and structures. And that’s how I spent the day... It’s clear that something still isn’t working well.

I’m waiting as well.  I lost two calendars newly completed.  I hope this is fixed soon.  I put them out for sale in early Fall.

Every day I make a quick new design to see if it saves.  Not yet.  It's been a 1 1/2 weeks and still no resolution.

I have found that the designs land in my saved designs folder if I am starting from an existing published product (not transferred).  If I start from scratch from the cyo menu, the designs do NOT save.  Maybe this can help narrow down the bug.

Exactly ... I also found the same thing ! Designs that am creating from existing products are all saved, but I lost a design started with CYO template. I am hopeful that the issues will be fixed soon.

I have the same problem.
I had 103 products in my "Saved Designs". After modifying them, they all disappeared.
Using the browser history, I was able to retrieve some of them and then bookmarked the links.
I hope Zazzle will fix this issue, which has been occurring for more than 10 days.

If it helps, I've noticed the following:
1 - If I create a new design from scratch, it is now well saved.
2 - If I retrieve an unsaved design whose link I had bookmarked, simply displaying a view different from the default view (left-hand side) makes it appear in the saved designs.
3 - Similarly, if I click "Publish" and cancel the publication by returning to the previous page in the browser, the design appears in the saved designs.
4 - On the other hand, designs I've been unable to find in my browser history, which I've therefore been unable to bookmark, are still missing in the saved designs.
So it's this last point that remains to be fixed, the most important one.

Tips:
Here's what I've started to do as a precautionary measure in case the problem recurs because I can't afford to lose dozens, not to say hundreds, of designs I've spent days creating:
1 - I've created a database in Notion, in which I now save all the links to the designs I create.
This way, I have a backup of all my designs' links in the cloud.
2 - For the most important designs, notably those I use as templates, I publish them in "hidden" mode so that I have a backup copy. Then, I edit the design, which generates a copy in the saved designs.

The issue still persists, and we have no news.
My feeling is that it won't be solved and that we'll have to forget about the missing designs.
We'd at least like to be kept informed.

The issue is that I have some designs that have disappeared, and I'd like to know if you will do anything to make them reappear.
This is not something you can reproduce on your end since the designs are gone.

Hurray, my designs reappeared today!
I have to admit, I'd given up hope.
I will bookmark them so this kind of surprise doesn't happen again.
