Search Function Not Working in Store Backend

This has been an ongoing problem with Zazzle that really needs to be fixed. The search function in the backend does not yield results for some products in the backend even if I search by the product’s exact name. This issue makes it difficult to find, edit, or optimize products—and to manage my store. Can you please address this issue? Here are links to products that are experiencing this issue. Thanks.

Same here. I just spent over 15 minutes trying different ways to "find" a product. I tried different search terms as well as using the Zazzle departments ONLY with no search terms at all with NO results. Luckily, I was able to find it on the public storefront:

https://www.zazzle.com/custom_golden_cross_religious_christening_baptism_bath_towel_set-256438517399...

Here is a link to the result from search by Zazzle departments only on the management backend:

https://www.zazzle.com/store/wdart_zazzle/products?dp=252347911405471562&vt=Public

And here is the result of search by product's exact title on the management backend:

https://www.zazzle.com/store/wdart_zazzle/products?qs=golden%20cross%20religious%20christening%20bap...

It is very odd that it cannot be found AT ALL on the store management end but is easily searchable by relevant search terms on the public store front. How could that be if it is the same store?

Thanks.

Thanks.

All three of your links work just fine for me, going to the towel set. Could it somehow be related to the browser? I use the newest Firefox on a Windows machine.

The links work—but not the search function when I search for these three items on the backend of my shop—even if I search on the exact name.

Okay, gotcha. And come to think about, I've occasionally not been able to find something and have to try to drill down to where it is. I've thought I was maybe not searching well enough.

Yes, definitely needs to be fixed!! Mine are still all not searchable that were part of the 'stuck indexing' batch in February.  It's incredible frustrating trying to manage products like that.  I have shared a big batch of examples of mine on another feed for the admins to look at.  Hopefully it will get resolved ASAP.

Same here. I can't find many of my products. Examples below. I can find them on my backend passing the pages until I see them but if I search for the exact name, or just easter, or easter invitation, nothing comes up. For easter alone I see 43 products but all invitations (and I'm guessing many more products) are missing. For easter invitations the result found is 0. This is in the backend. If I search for the exact title in Zazzle search, it is there. This needs to be fixed please, I can't properly work otherwise.

I have the same problem. The search function in the backend doesn't work. I hope it gets resolved soon.

This is still happening, any update please?

Not yet, but I asked for an update.

Thanks, Fiona! I sent more examples and a video via email but the person responding doesn't understand the issue. If you can see the emails and pass it on maybe it helps. I noticed also for example if I search for "easter" alone it showed 43 results the other day and 25 results today but I didn't delete anything and have no hidden/need optimization listings either.

Hi Fiona, just wanted to share that this is happening for me too. Products from a month ago still are not showing up for me in a backend search. I have to click on categories and manual scroll to look for them. Thanks for looking into this!

I uploaded 7 designs on Monday 17th but next day saw that they were not appearing on the front-end. I have delayed uploading more. Are we being shadow-banned? Has Zazzle outsourced IT to a Third World outfit believing the promises of cost-savings?  I find myself wondering if the time has come to go POD directly? I would not be surprised if other creators are thinking the same thing.

Come on Zazzle, get this sorted!

Your issue is a different problem. It's normal for some products to take a few days to show on Zazzle's front end marketplace. This has always happened as far as I know.

The problem about the backend it's still happening thought. Some of us still have products not appearing in the backend of our shops.

Either way, not good enough, is it? Competition is a good thing.

Tis'  Normal that our products do not land immediately in our stores ! Hold your breath a minute, and Woophee  they are there before your very eyes 😊😂

I've noticed the same thing.  I know I have the product in my store but when searching the back end with the exact word I know is in the title it still tells me I have zero products that match it.

the feed for searches seems to not be working correctly either. I limit the search feed query to just my store, but any search seems to return all my products. In addition, it seems to only return a subset of my products, less than 1/20th of all the actual products in my store.

Still happening. Wanted to add that it's not just new products or ones with no views. I know for sure of one that keeps selling but no matter what I use to search for it on the back-end, it does not show up. I have to use the categories and go page by page to find it. Please give us an update. If I want to send a product to a potential customer, promote it, copy the design,... I just can't work properly.

Please please please prioritize this issue. It's impossible to work like this

Agree, this is incredibly frustrating for editing descriptions, working on cover photos or organizing collections. I can't find anything via backend search that I created in the past couple months. 😩

It's like having a store full of products you can't see. It's been a month now, I hope it's fixed soon because this is not ok anymore, it's impossible to work like this

This is definitely still happening for me.  It started with the February products that got 'stuck' for a few weeks. Now it is even new items from these past couple weeks. It just keeps growing. It's incredibly hard to work like this.

I remarked strange behaviors when searching too, some products I saw before don’t appear, in fact each time I  search, the results  look incomplete, I don’t have the time to investigate more, but I start to be really tired of all this recurring issues on Zazzle…

Oh top of not being able to search, these items aren't even showing up in my backend categories either, so I can't even use that way to find anything. 😭

I don't know if it's related but I asked my brother on another computer and place to search products in my store (not zazzle search but going to my store and typing in the store search box) and it was not giving results for anything he put, even just the name type product like "mousepad". Just as I see in the backend but he was seeing this without even login in on zazzle. It seems like my products can be found on Zazzle (what I tested at least) but it can't be found within my store.

Hello Zazzle Teams: This morning I have a very precise example of this problem for you. I searched for the term "watch" in my store products, in order to update a pinterest board with my latest creations.

Here are the results classified from newest to oldest:

Fantabuloustef_0-1743933609601.png

The most recent item displayed in theses results was created on 28 of November 2024. Its product Id is 256701868217639555

Since then I created all these other watches which don't appear in the search results:

DATE                PRODUCT ID

2/18/2025       256577380023517351

2/19/2025      256115310136173071

3/17/2025     256605474162698211

3/18/2025     256407711153527769

Could you please have a look and try to find a fix for this problem many other designers highlighted ?

Thank you !

Same here - In fact - For all of my products created/published after 2/12/25 - When I search for a specific product type or a simple keyword.

Eample: my newest Easter products. I can find them in my own store category but not using search - They all have "Easter" in their titles and tags.
