We cannot pay you because your payment settings are incomplete?

I'm getting a strange message on my account page. It says you cannot pay me because my payment settings are incomplete. I haven't changed anything, and I've been being paid through PayPal since I started here.
So, I went to my payment settings as requested, scanned through them and hit save, and then got a message that there was a problem with my email address. The email address has not changed, and it's working just fine. I got a marketing email from Zazzle a few minutes ago.
I've had similar error messages in the past, but they went away when I reloaded the screen, so I chalked it up to some sort of server glitch, but this worries me.

UPDATE: I just refreshed the screen again and the error message went away. So... I guess that means it's fine? It's still very disconcerting though, and I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know what's going on. Thanks.

Did you ever get an answer as to why it is happening? I just saw it on my account for the first time - exactly as your screenshots show. I haven't changed anything, email is the same as it always was. I will refresh as suggested above, but did you get paid on time? Did you hear any explanation? Thanks!

I never got an answer, but the message went away after half an hour or so and I got paid just fine so for the time being I've decided not to worry about it. Yanno... the old "ignore it and maybe it will go away" approach! 😊

I've also had this happen before. Refreshing the screen clears the message, which usually comes back a couple more times before disappearing again (for many many months).

Well, I'm heartened to know that I'm not the only person this happens to. Usually the message goes away as soon as I refresh the page. This time it took about a dozen tries over half an hour or so. I guess it's an imperfect universe!

I do remember folks posting about this in the old forum. Seems a glitch of some sort if I remember correctly...
Ideally someone from Z can chime in and confirm that there is a known glitch tied to that message.

It is very disconcerting and I wish they would fix it. I almost fainted the first time I saw it. I can handle almost anything - except payment issues.

I also saw this for the first time today.
I sent a message to customer service as a designer - not certain the hoops I went through to get it to a department that might be able to help. I verified my Paypal and e-mail info is still working.

Many thanks for reaching out! If you are seeing this error message and are certain that your payment information is correct, clearing cache & cookies then clicking 'Save' again should do the trick. Let us know if this pops up again for you.
