When a customer adds their name to a product, if their name is too small or large compared to the template, their name size should automatically adjust. I have a customer with 31 items that she has to go into each one and manually adjust the size. This seems kind of ridiculous. It's now the 25th and I'm still waiting for my royalties to change. I understand Zazzle has to bow to the google gods but it's still kinda ridiculous that it now takes this long (5 days and counting) while every other platform allows royalty changes in almost real time. Obviously there's a huge number of products that need updating each month which is why if we can't do real time changes then maybe change it to twice a month instead. Once a month changes means everyone is rushing to update their product royalties en masse whereas twice a month would reduce the angst and pressure of changing our royalties by the once-a-month deadline and, I'm assuming, reduce the number of products that would need updating each cycle and thus the amount of time necessary to complete the update. Update: I just checked a few of my products that have been pending a royalty change for the past few weeks and not only did they not change but the pending royalty amount disappeared from the Royalty Information, which means I'll have to wait another month?? Just a thought because I had to report another Zazzle designer who blatantly copied one of my designs - or better, design themes - including hex codes and everything: I know we can report a design and that is pretty straight forward but after that one needs to send an email with all kinds of statements and a signature. It would be great if there was an online form that one can fill out with everything the content review team needs plus the possibility to upload screenshots. I tried to put everything into my email (plus the legal statements that are required according to the email I got?) but that's pretty cumbersome and I wonder how many designers really do that? I guess all I want is the possibility to flag a design quickly and have Zazzle look into it and decide if it's a copy or just a similar design but not a copy 🙂 ... View more

It's unbelievable how many "me too" posts are generated in the Tech forum. We need someone to lock all but the original post. Usually someone from Z has acknowledge the issue on the first post. But members don't seem to look for duplicate threads of the same problem and start another. Even writing on those duplicate threads with links to the original does nothing to deter other's from adding their "me too" posts. I think its high time that the minimum royalty before the carve out for designers (or creators or whatever we are deemed these days lol) should reflect the same thing that is happening everywhere. Prices on products have increased across the board, but we are still charged an additional fee after 14.9% which has been in place for a decade+. Should that not also reflect the times? Virtually every day now, I'm getting questions from customers regarding matching RSVP cards, envelopes, etc. for their wedding invitations. At first I thought I maybe I had neglected to put some things in the correct collections, but now I see that collections have all but disappeared when the customer is using a mobile device - at least that's the case when I tested it using Chrome on my Android phone. There's absolutely no indication that there is a collection unless you scroll down about 50 pages. I know screen space is limited, and depending on the type of product, collections are not always terribly relevant. But for weddings, this is a pretty big problem, and I think we're losing a lot of sales because of it. Maybe Zazzle could at least include a small link to the collection somewhere that the user has at least some hope of finding it? ... View more

I have had several potential clients tell me they do not like having to create an account in order to purchase a product, especially something very inexpensive like a card. @James, Scott—zazzle mod, Zazzle Paper offers gift tags set of 10, 120 lb weight, with hole punched and choice of twine colors, size 2 x 3.5.  Altering the size could make them usable as bookmarks. But, since it is a set of 10, the templated text would be the same on all 10. Same for any quote text either by a shop or customer. Changing the size could adapt them into a new product offering. ... For Napkins, please offer Product Merchandising option of "All Options except Guest Napkins." This is the one shape that is so radically different from the other paper napkin sizes. As a result, designs (that are not patterned designs) that may look good on the other napkin sizes, don't look very good on the Guest Napkins.
