I hope this can be added to 'Zazzle's lengthy 'to do' list. Thanks! This first image below shows a design on the new foil invitation using a black background. The second image is on the same design with a white background and the final image is the same design on one of the older folded greeting cards. As you can see, on the black background the in situ looks like a flat yellow with no texture or color gradation...on a white background it looks slightly better as it shows some depth. The in situ for the folded greeting cards is so much better as it shows some texture and variation in color. I wouldn't be tempted to buy the invitation because it just doesn't look like foil. When I design a business card with a special paper like black core or grey or kraft look it is off putting that when you are in the design tool the paper stock is not visible during the design process. So I'm designing a business card for example on black core business card stock but in the design tool the black core is not visible... it's actually invisible / nowhere to be seen until saving it. To clarify what I'm saying in case I'm not expressing myself well here.... if I'm designing business cards on the black core, kraft look or grey paper stock please let me see the paper texture instead of blank canvas while customers and I are designing. In addition when I select rounded corner card stock style please allow he designing view to show actual rounded corners as it will appear when finished.

Thank you for the massive font expansion. The choice is now great but the drawback is that it has become overwhelming. It would be extremely helpful if you would move the chosen favorites to the top of the respective style/category lists: favorites first (alphabetically), then the rest (alphabetically). This way we can save a lot of scrolling now that the choice is immense. I know, there is the favorites category (thank you for that great add, too) but in practice, it's more convenient to work by style category - the favorites category gets overwhelming and difficult to use, too, with so many fonts. Thanks for considering. Have a great day! Oh, and kudos for the latest improvements, the designer has become a gem.

I've been designing a lot of envelopes recently and have a few suggestions/requests. First, it would be really helpful if there were customizable envelopes available for all the size cards that Zazzle offers. The two requests I get most frequently are for envelopes for 3.5x5 inch cards (not sure what size that is) and size A9 - for cards designed on 8.5x5.5 inch paper (cardstock) sheets. Second, would it be possible to get a product view that included the front as well as both back views (open and closed) of the envelope? Often, most of the design is on the inside flap, but if I choose that view, then customers can't tell whether the design has a pre-printed return address on the back flap, or a pre-printed mail-to address on the front. Is there a way for the customer to select the matching envelope when purchasing wedding invitations? I have seen the envelope drop-down box option, but the only options were for either a white envelope or none at all. I think it might be a good idea if, when purchasing wedding invitations, the customer had the option of selecting the matching envelope made by the same designer. For example, in the drop-down box when purchasing the invitations, there should be the option of something like, "white, matching design, none" rather than just white or none. Just a suggestion.

One thing that's always made it hard for me to be fully organized with my files in the image browser is that there is an option for "all images", "recent images", and "my folders" but no option for images that aren't in folders. I want to go through my files as quickly as possible and find any that aren't already organized into folders and get them sorted quickly without having to sort through every single image I have in the "all images" option. Please consider adding the ability to filter by files that aren't saved into folders.

It would be really great if customers had the option to purchase different amounts of sheet protectors with their binder purchase. Maybe a drop down box to add different amounts like 12, 24, 36, 50 or something along those lines. Also, an option for Tab Dividers in a similar fashion would nice, and perhaps offer these in different solid color options or white with colored tabs.

It would be great if we could have up to 4 templates we can automatically choose from to send to customers who contact us. We could create professional sounding responses that do not sound hurried or have any grammatical errors, and best of all sound like they are coming from us. The same canned response with a "Kind Regards" and a name from multiple creators may leave the customer feeling that we are just sending canned response. My responses for what I'm selling may be different from what someone else is selling. A congratulatory and thanks for shopping for a Bridal Boutique, may sound different from a store that sells pet memorials. I think that 4 of our own canned responses. Or, even Zazzle creating them and us editing them may be fine. For example... 1. One for shipping times. 2. One for order mistakes with name, etc.. 3. One for product materials and specifications. 4. One for returns.

Unless I’m overlooking it. I use Zazzle sometimes on my iPad. And I use the iPad screen keyboard. There’s no delete button on the screen keyboard. So when I need to delete a layer I have to “cut” it. It works, but sometimes I’ll have stuff waiting that has been “copied” into memory and when I cut it, it makes the copied thing disappear. There should be a delete button that’s in the same drop down menu as copy and paste. Also, there needs to be a way to select layers on an iPad. I can currently just select one or all. But nothing in between. Can the Zazzle team test this stuff on an iPad? Thanks!

I like that we can select a "Force Customer to Replace" option for visual images, and I understand there are multiple reasons for this. I'm also wondering if a "Force Customer to Edit" option would be good for text, so that they don't inadvertently miss updating a template. There are certain text placeholders, such as names and dates, that we often want to ensure that customers update. I fear that a customer might leave a date as 202X, for example, then have to return or replace a gift. This would especially be a problem for a special ocassion if they don't have time to reorder. Perhaps we already have measures in place to help prevent customers overlooking text templates, but if not, then it would be great to have this option. I'd hate for a Merideth to order a cup that still says Jennifer!

Hi! When you lock any element of your design with the padlock or by marking objects as permanent and always visible to prevent modification, and then you want to transfer or copy and paste that design, the designer must unlock and unmark the objects, which is really annoying since they then have to lock and mark them again. Would it be possible to find a solution so that this doesn't affect the creator? TIA!

Funeral prayer cards are small cards which measure 2.25” wide x 4.25” high and are typically distributed at a wake or visitation service. Would Zazzle please consider making cards this size? The "mighty card" in the business card section tends to run a little small. Thank you!

I believe I mentioned this before. Is it possible to make the area for lock and when an image is blocked from view to show up better in the layers section? In all the browsers I tired the area that shows the images and font as they are layered is a dark gray and the icons are impossible to see. If you do not know these options are available they are pointless. Perhaps the little lock can be black so you know it is there and turns red showing the layer is actually locked. The same with the hide icon. Make it seeable and change the color when it is in use.

I think its high time that the minimum royalty before the carve out for designers (or creators or whatever we are deemed these days lol) should reflect the same thing that is happening everywhere. Prices on products have increased across the board, but we are still charged an additional fee after 14.9% which has been in place for a decade+. Should that not also reflect the times? We should be due for raises too! The minimum percentage that we place on our products before the carve out should be increased a bit in my opinion. Maybe 17 or 18%... Thank you! Cheers.

I've received numerous messages from customers who don't understand how to select the quantity of cards or invitations that they want to purchase. The drop-down box seems to totally confuse them because they think that the drop-down selections are the only options - they don't realize that they can type any number into the box. I've only had a handful of customers ask me about this but judging by the fact that I frequently see weird orders on my royalty reports where the customer places two orders for the same card/invite - one with a quantity of 100 and one with a quantity of 50 - or some other combination of numbers, I think that a very large percentage of customers don't understand. I'm guessing that at least part of the purpose behind the drop-down is to show the volume discount, but I think it's really off-putting for customers who don't get it. Perhaps there's some other way to display the volume discount that wouldn't be so confusing?
