I received customer feedback today, and it's really frustrating. All my designs are within the safety lines, but Zazzle still cut them like this. It seems Zazzle doesn’t properly test the products before packaging, which is terrible. The worst part is that customers think I'm the one responsible for the printing! What am I supposed to do???Annotation 2024-08-16 082823.jpg

If you received the feedback via chat you can refer them to customer support. Otherwise, there's not much we can do, which is really troubling. I have heard that they reach out to customers who leave a negative review, but I don't know the details on that.

This is a huge problem. How can such a big company be so unprofessional? I'm losing customers, and it's not even my fault—it feels like the creators are being blamed instead of Zazzle. This isn't Etsy; this is Zazzle!

This is one of the most ridiculous aspects of Zazzle, unfortunately. They ask the customer questions about the "shipping" and "print quality" etc, which they should ask, yes, but it should be applied specifically to Zazzle customer service, not to our product designs- which effects our store, designs, and now also the cumulative rating of the collection(s) that product appears in. These are aspects of production that we as designers have no control of, but it is being presented to the customer as though we do, and it effects our product design ratings. Top it off with being left with no way to contest these negative reviews or have them removed, and it turns into an actual mess that gets unjustly dumped on creators. I wish they would separate the review questions into two forms- one with production specific questions, and one with design specific questions, and display them appropriately.

When I first started working on Zazzle, I actually thought the platform was a bit old-fashioned compared to Redbubble, Amazon, or Etsy. They could have grown so much faster if they accepted mistakes and made changes. But anyway, it is what it is:)))

@halamanhBut Redbubble isn't do too well financially, so not being old-fashioned didn't help them any.
