Problem with pillow in-situ pics shown on collections

On about half of my pillow collections, the three in situ pics shown on the collection covers have turned into flattened jpegs of my artwork. Has this issue already been reported? Is there a fix in the works? Thanks.

Hi @Jadendreamer13,

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue here. The issue has been reported and we are investigating.

Thanks for your patience.

Pádraig.

I suppose, @Marcia is right that the problem could become because collections have older mockups which are not exist anymore. Maybe, it'll help the engineers to fix the problem with pillows presentation in collections. From what I noticed it is for throw pillows - rectangular and lumbar. Outdoor pillows show design from both sides on covers of collection previews. Here are examples how does it look like.

Thanks that you are trying to fix it.

For a work around, I've noticed that if you go into the "product merchandising" of "edit details" & then "change options" to any of the views & then save, it works & will show up correctly on the collection covers. I have a feeling the problem stems from the fact that when Zazzle changed all the views, your pillows stayed with the same, older views that don't exist anymore. And now that's become a problem.

That’s a great suggestion, Marcia. I tried it on one pillow as a test, and it didn’t fix the problem. Maybe it takes a day or two to show up. I’m only going to change one pillow to see if it works. I don’t want to spend time attempting to fix dozens of pillow images if this isn’t ultimately the fix. Interestingly, it’s just the pillow collection cover images that are not displaying correctly. All the pillow pics shown inside the collections are fine. This is a new issue—not something that happened immediately following the new pillow in situ photo change.

@Jadendreamer13 It worked immediately for me. When you went back to the collections page, did you refresh your screen? (Course now that I got the pillows to work for me, I've found wrong views showing on a ton of other products...)

Yes, refreshing the page worked. Now I have to fix all the rest. It will be dozens of pillows. What a bummer.

Has the problem been fixed yet?  I'm experiencing the same issue and like you have collections with 50+ pillows that will need to be done manually.  More of an issue for me is that the older in-situ image is much better quality - the new one looks like a poorly constructed product.   Some of these mockups are so unprofessional, making the manual fix that much more unpleasant.  This isn't improving product merchandising.

No, no one ever addressed this problem or resolved it. I had to manually fix each pillow in my collections. I agree with you that the new in situ single pillow mock-ups are not as nice as the mock-ups that they replaced.

I haven't tried this yet, but perhaps just refreshing the screen of an open collection (Perhaps the screen of all collections?) might adjust to the new views you mention ???

@BKMuir if you mean me, unfortunately, no – not working. Even if I change the view in "product merchandising". The binders, now showing spread open front & back, are especially annoying. I hope all this gets fixed soon.

Great suggestion, but that didn’t work for me, either. I just went back and checked—the problem is occurring in 17 of my pillow collections, each of which have about 30 pillows. That’s a lot of products that I would have to manually change and it would keep me from creating new products while I attempt to fix those products. I’m hoping Zazzle moderators will push the IT team for a fix.

This is happening with other products in my collections as well, including wrapping paper (both rolls and sheets), binders, flat cards, return address labels, and more.

@ovenbird Same here, they're a mess. Unfortunately, I'm finding that I need to do the workaround mentioned somewhere here in the forum. Where you go to the backend, unclick the collection, reclick to put it back in the collection, then reorganize it so it's in the order you initially had it. (Can you say tedious???) Each day, I'm working on a few collections to get them back to "normal". Maybe I'll be done in a month or so? Would be nice if this was fixed in the meanwhile.

Screen Shot 2022-11-26 at 3.55.39 pm.pngStill seems to be a problem I am adding t-shirts into boys teens collection and one of the shirts defaults to the view with a boy and a girl! Sigh. I am having the same issues on all mine, the first view shows on the collection and not the one I have set. Very frustrating as this is holiday season now and I want to get collections created and out looking correct.

This is still problem. All my pillows are shown as design blocks when looking at the Collection in the Collections tab. View is normal once inside the collection.pillow glitch in collections.png
