The configurable shapes available is very limited. Customers may wonder why we just have a circle, square, line and triangle. There are no hearts, stars, arrows, etc.. They may not do a icon search to find a shape. Further, many may not be able to mask a photo with a shape, or group things. Zazzle and the customers may see better designs and more creativity by expanding the tools we can mask with. Customers may like their wedding photos in hearts, or team photos in stars. Or, perhaps charge us say .05 cents per icon we want to use for artistic purposes. PS Sorry I have so many ideas. I think you guys are doing an excellent job. I just figured if you went through all of this trouble to create a new forum to also collect more ideas. I'd submit them as I think of them.

It would be wonderful if Zazzle could find some way to allow place cards to be customized individually. As it stands, they can only be ordered in packs of 10 for the flat place cards, and packs of 25 for the folding variety. This means that the only real option is to design something generic or something with a write-in spot for the person's name. It would be SUPER helpful if customers could have printed names on these. I understand the minimum order since these are an inexpensive product, but perhaps there would be some way that they could be customized individually within the minimum order - sorta like wine charms work where you can buy them in sets of 4 but customize each one in the set individually. I noticed that notebooks have an option for bullet journals but not a diary-styled page. So a little like the lined pages but with a space specifically made to write the date of the journal entry. A related thought, although I know that this will be difficult to implement: Allow creators to design notebooks with custom designed pages. That way you can make the pages of the notebook match the cover.

Hi @Scott, in the backend we can select the amount of products being shown, 24 - 48 - 72 - 96 - 204. Is it possible to make it so that we can choose one of those choices as a preferred default, so one doesn't have to make that selection every time when pulling up the backend to work in?

It would really be nice to have some insitu photos for the glass Trinket Trays. As it is, the views of them from the side make it nearly impossible to see the designs on them. We need some shots from a different angle to highlight their dimensions as well as the their designs. Suggesting that Zazzle add Magnetic Mailbox Covers to products we can design on, Everywhere I go I see homes with these cute magnetic mailbox covers on their mailboxes. Even my own family buys these online. With seasons and holidays to decorate these for, I think it would be a fun and profitable product to add! Thanks for your time!

Hello Zazzle Team! We love Zazzle, and the design tool, and we have an idea which we'd love to ask for. We'd LOVE to see more flexibility in the grid design. What we would ideally love is to be able to define our own grid, to many different parameters. Could be quadrants that work with the product we're designing on; could be centimeters, could be inches, etc, depending on the product. What would also be really great is to be able to overlay a secondary grid, with perhaps different grid line colors, so we can see it separate from the first grid. Please can you add the ability to search for partial words- eg - towel would also bring up towels, bath - would bring up bathroom - golf would bring up golfer/golfing etc I'm uploading cover photos to the media section in collections, if I've accidentally uploaded cover photos in the plural - i.e napkins instead of napkin - I have to double my search term which is taking precious time Thanks for considering!

I like that we can design for cookies, brownies, cake pops, dipped oreos, etc. I would like to have the option to be able to have three or four different coordinating designs on a dozen set. Like 3 cookies will have one design, another 3 have another design, and so on creating a dozen set of a coordinated design theme. Or 4 coordinating designs on groups of three in the dozen set. Hope this makes sense. I think it would look great for holidays, life events, and celebrations.

I'm getting a lot of questions from customers about paper types - mostly for invitations, but for other paper products as well. I try to point them to the page that describes all of the paper choices in detail, but since it's a popup, not a standalone page, I can't just send them a link, so it ends up being this complicated back and forth trying to point them to the correct location - especially since directions on how to find it vary depending on the device that they're using. Would it be possible to get standalone links to the pages describing all of the paper choices for various products? AND, it would be really helpful if the paper descriptions could be a bit more descriptive in terms of the weight of the paper. First of all, the descriptions generally give a paper weight, but it doesn't say if that's a cover weight or a text weight, and there's a BIG difference. Most customers won't understand that jargon anyhow, but even for us designers, it's very confusing since it isn't specified. Could the descriptions on paper sheets be modified to clarify if the paper is a cardstock or not? This is the main question customers have, and it's a source of great confusion. It really matters because some designs are supposed to be folded, and others are supposed to be flat, so the customer needs to know what they're getting. It would also be helpful if we had more granularity in specifying which papers are available for which designs. The other one that's a big deal is the poster papers. People seem to assume that the canvas gloss will stand up without a frame, but I don't believe it will. It needs to be clear that none of the poster papers are sturdy enough to stand up without a frame - I believe that's accurate - that's what I was told from a Zazzle rep on the old forum anyhow. Maybe Zazzle could do a video for each product, showcasing the different paper types? It would be easier for customers to see the differences in thickness that way. Thanks for considering this... it would be really helpful if this process could be made easier for the customer.

I have spaces between paragraphs when I create the listing. But when it displays on the store, the spaces are removed and it is showing as one big long paragraph. I love Zazzle's idea of using the description to tell a story behind the item, but when you do it doesn't look good structurally on the product page, and discourages a customer from reading it. Is it possible to give us a text box entry tool (like the one I am using right now to type this) on the Product Form for typing in descriptions?

How is a designer supposed to avoid repeating a specific content violation yet be sent a notice of content review with zero way of finding out which design is the offending design? In the email it says view image but... you get there and there's nothing but a blank white square box!! If Z is concerned about sending us to an image of the product that has the content removed can you please simply include a thumbnail or screenshot of the within the email (not a link) of the product with a watermark over it? It's like being arrested and brought to jail with no knowledge of what your offense was 🙂 I know the analogy is a bit extreme but I think expresses what I'm talking about

In Zazzle's paper breakout, the current table card used for creating table numbers is offered as a 3 1/2 x 5 inch card only. Can Zazzle offer this paper product in a variety of sizes, i.e. 5x7 and 4x6? I have customers ask for larger table cards and to accommodate them, I make the table numbers on flat 5x7 card stock, but that comes automatically with an envelope. I have to ask the customer to turn off the envelope option before ordering. This is cumbersome and would be more efficient if the table cards were offered in the popular size options that other flat cards are sold in.

I have a lot of products I sell at a high royalty. It seems customers do not mind paying a premium for my products when the other designs you might like is populated by other products (usually my own) at similar price points. My suggestion is to feature products at around the sane price point in the other designs you might like bar.

Common advice is not to delete products that have sold as sold items help the overall "health" of your store. (Plus it's just neat to be able to go back and see what all things have sold in the past.) So for my handful of rare products that have both sold and been determined as definitely discontinued, I created a hidden category titled "Discontinued" with the intent of moving said products into it. That way I can remove them from their orig category in the back-end for better organization without actually having to delete them. The issue is that once an item as been flagged as Discontinued in the back-end, the only options available for it are Delete and Transfer Design. Even the checkbox to include it in a bulk action is grayed out. So you can only either delete it or be stuck with it forever sitting in whatever cat you happened to have it in when it got marked as Discontinued. 😥 It would be super if you could bring this one option back for Discontinued products.

I was thinking about types of products to offer people for customers' office and home office desks and thought about tissue box covers/sleeves. I did a quick search and didn't see any on Zazzle. This seems like a product that should be easy to source for POD. The typical cube style boxes are a good target.
