Hello everyone, While reviewing my product listings on Zazzle marketplaces in various countries, I noticed very few stars and no review comments left on one of my I'm a WHIMSICAL DOODLER case-mate products on the Zazzle New Zealand marketplace that wasn't purchased because I've already checked my store sales order history. I was wondering why I received a low star rating and then I realized perhaps the number of stars and how many people purchased that product which is advertised under the product title are for all product purchases placed for that same product in each Zazzle marketplace designed by all Zazzle designers. From a customer's point of view, my first thought would be that another customer purchased that product from me and wasn't happy with their purchase so they gave me a low star rating. This doesn't look good for me as a designer and may deter people from purchasing any product from my store. Furthermore, I have no control over the quality of other products designed and made by other creators/designers in the Zazzle marketplace. Please consider only showing the number of stars and the number of orders placed from that designer's store under each product title. This will give a true representation of how many people are happy with that design made by that creator/designer and perhaps help all Zazzle creators/designers who produce quality designs see a boost in their product sales too. I also see reviews for 'Other Designs' next to 'This Design' (mine) which should not be there. To summarise: Please consider removing 'Reviews - Other Designs' from my product listings and avoid including product reviews from all Zazzle creator stores under 'one umbrella' for each product listing. I hope my feedback helps all designers producing great designs on Zazzle earn more. Have a great day, Erin Margaret

Hello everyone, I've noticed not all product sizes, ratios (square, round, oval, star, heart, rectangular), paper types, and colors (e.g. suitcase bumper handles, spiral spines, etc) suit the style of illustrations and patterns I create for kids, mothers, and other occasions on the Zazzle marketplace. So I've needed to create individual product listings for products with more than one size and or shape option. When I do this it looks like a duplicate product listing especially if it's the same shape (square) but a different size when they see the product image if they don't click through to see the size in the title description. This also means that Zazzle shoppers will only see one size/shape option when they go to view my product. This means I might miss out on product sales if customers don't scroll down to view my collection or read my design description where I may mention other sizes. So I'd love for Zazzle e-commerce and tech developers to consider incorporating checkboxes as seen in this photo below of my hedgehog's note card which includes a hand note of my suggestion about what e-commerce improvements for note cards I'd love to see Zazzle offer their customers. Check boxes please 🙂 Please note the example you see above of my hedgehog's Christmas note card is not the finished designed product. I've other custom hedgehog note cards in my store that you can view here. When you offer checkboxes this should speed up the design process for the creator and show what 'recommended sizes, colors, and paper/material types' are offered by the Zazzle creator/designer. Please also consider including a separate comment box below "About This Design" which may read: a special message from the Designer/Creator or a personal note from The Designer/Creator explaining why they chose a particular size, paper/material type, color (for the notebook spine, bumpers, handles for suitcases, frames for prints, etc) for their art, illustration or pattern design. This will save customers time in selecting which materials or colors to choose from when they see 'recommending product options from the designer'. Including a 'recommending product options from the designer comment box' should make a more pleasurable shopping experience for Zazzle customers. Have a great day, Erin Margaret

Hello everyone, I'm a new designer in the Zazzle US marketplace. I'm pleased that my cover art notebook/sketchbook "I'm a WHIMSICAL DOODLER" I designed for kids has been selected for the 'whimsical' word search term on Zazzle's US marketplace home page. whimsical word search However, my suggestion is for Zazzle's e-commerce team to consider listing products, featured in image word search terms, in the top row when a customer clicks through because when I tap on that link, I don't see my "I'm a WHIMSICAL DOODLER" notebook cover design displayed on the top row. In my opinion, customers don't want to keep browsing for products they see on display in an image word search when they click through even if that product image is used for marketing purposes. This could lead to a lot of independent designers missing out on sales as well as Zazzle. Another suggestion I have for Zazzle is to improve the user experience for desktop users by displaying: "Other products from this collection" is positioned directly under the Zazzle designer's product listing, then "Other designs you might like" from other designers on the next row below. Have a great day, Erin Margaret P.S. You can find my "I'm a WHIMSICAL DOODLER Sketchbook/Notebook" here.

Just downloaded the Zazzle app and found the way collections are presented quite surprising. While I appreciate the creative effort, personalizing each collection page with a background color sampled from the banner or design results in a less than desirable overall look, in my opinion. The eye-catching products are overshadowed by the background, and scrolling through collections becomes distracting. The attention often shifts to the background, diverting the eyes away from the intended focus on the products. I know some people like the look and it’s impossible to please everyone, but there’s a reason why products are typically presented on a white background – it allows the focus to remain on the product itself. Isn’t that what we want? This issue extends to collection thumbnails, where individual colors, often vibrant and sometimes unrelated to the collection, create a chaotic visual experience. Given the recent emphasis on collections to drive more sales, it's unclear how these visual elements contribute to the desired focus and customer engagement. In the quest for a better user experience and increased sales, I propose a shift to a uniform white background for collection thumbnails and pages. Additionally, please reconsider the necessity of collection banners on the app, especially with the current fading effect. It could lead to a more appealing and efficient use of space. Rather than focusing on banners, prioritizing collection descriptions might be a better option.

It would be super great if we could get a way to get the total number of sales in a particular category, for a particular date range. This would be a big help in comparing the viability of various niches. Thank you.

When I go to "create" a 5x7 greeting card the options are "announcement card" or "thank you card". It would be more clear and searchable if it just said greeting card...especially given the popularity of that size card.

I love to design round stickers as handmade cookies (or small baked item) label but does not found any option for that in Realview provided by Zazzle. Buying commercial mock ups are pricey. This Holiday season and also all your round hand made cookies are often a great affordable gift option with custom label. Please consider providing new cookies label display option for round stickers, it would help a lot, Thank you.

It would be good if, once we group something in a design we could right-click on it and set it to "do not allow customer to ungroup". That's because the licenses I have don't allow me to sell digital images unless it is "flat", you know? So, when I create digital invites, I make some groups and lock them. The problem is that sometimes the customer just wants to move that group or resize it, but once it is locked, it is not possible. However, I have to keep that locked, otherwise, in theory, the customer could ungroup that and download the separated elements.

I have an IOS device, but I can't download the Earnings app because I'm in EU. Please remove the country limitations for outside US. It's just a couple of checkboxes for you, but would make keeping track of earnings so much easier.

How about customizable speed cubes? I believe that these would be a great seller! I just had a frustrating experience trying to locate a product I'd saved to finish later. Since we are not able to delete revised designs, it's become very difficult to use this folder for its intended purpose. I currently have several thousand products in my saved designs folder. I'd love to have some type of search function to make it easier to locate things we'd like to continue working on at a later date. Any type of search box or filter to improve the functionality of the saved designs folder would be much appreciated. I never did manage to find what I was looking for. I will go back and remake the product, but it would be nice to have a more efficient option!

It would be great to see ---Any Baby or Boy & Girl Baby--- as an option in the categories. Right now the optional under kids are Any Child, Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Boys, Girls Teens etc. Many of our Baby items are for boy or girl. It would be nice to mark as such.

I like that we can design for cookies, brownies, cake pops, dipped oreos, etc. I would like to have the option to be able to have three or four different coordinating designs on a dozen set. Like 3 cookies will have one design, another 3 have another design, and so on creating a dozen set of a coordinated design theme. Or 4 coordinating designs on groups of three in the dozen set. Hope this makes sense. I think it would look great for holidays, life events, and celebrations.

It would be so helpful if when we want to share an item, we had the option to share just the item link or share the item as the image but the link shared would be for any collection it is part of. So many times we share the same collection over and over. Unless you constantly change the collection, your viewers get bored. Many times, one of our newer items would catch their eye. So to keep it fresh, we could share a new item often, yet still link it to a collection. Zazzle might see an increase in link follows just by making that simple option available. It would give store owners more opportunity to keep there share, blogs, and sites from become stale.

I have spaces between paragraphs when I create the listing. But when it displays on the store, the spaces are removed and it is showing as one big long paragraph. I love Zazzle's idea of using the description to tell a story behind the item, but when you do it doesn't look good structurally on the product page, and discourages a customer from reading it. Is it possible to give us a text box entry tool (like the one I am using right now to type this) on the Product Form for typing in descriptions?

Honestly, it shouldn't have to be so hard finding your User Agreement for Creators. I have looked everywhere that made sense and I just couldn't find it. After a half an hour I found a teeny tiny link at the very bottom of the page. Please add this link to our "My Account" tab to make it easier to find. This would benefit new Creators who have just just signed up as well. Thank you for this consideration

I know it's naive to think that my post will change anything, but things have come to a point where I have too much to lose to leave it without a word. (And I've just read that some criticism here won't lead to punishment in the marketplace.) Like many other designers, I'm experiencing a decline in sales. It would be comfortable for me too to blame it on the economy, but all my other POD accounts are acting normally (October = 3x August). Despite spending 100% of my POD time here since the mockup misery and the collections update. Unlike others, I believe the main factor in decreasing sales is the heavy manual intervention in the marketplace placements. Definitely not the collections, maybe not the mockups or any changes announced, but things happening under the hood. It seems that Zazzle's new approach is not showing customers what they want but showing them what they want them to want. But, as results show, it doesn't work like that. Apparently, the crowd can better decide what's popular (with their money) than some Editors (with their picks). A year ago, when I was browsing in some random product category, I was thinking if I had more money, I would buy this and that, and those too. Everything looked so nice and professional. Now I scroll through the first page of literally any category and don't like what I see enough to go to the second page. Yes, some awful mockups definitely don't help (and I say this knowing that I suck at mockups too), but prioritizing pages of designs that one employee liked at some point will drive away customers who are used to seeing beautiful and trendy things here. I like to believe that the intent was good, but the implementation went astray. I understand that Zazzle wants to reward certain designers and influence buyers, but it could be done wiser in my opinion. So just a suggestion: why don't you put one Editor's pick in every other row and let customers see the organically popular items too (bought with real money), as it used to be. If you placed a few EPs on the first pages, they would have the opportunity to catch up, but they would be put back into their normal places a few days later (I mean like some rotation system). This way, the category pages would have the popular and best-selling products but always show something new to keep visitors coming back. Sorry for the length and the poor English.
