I know that the team is trying to steer customers towards the customer service team when they try to message designers but customers are still messaging us with non-design messages. I noticed that there is an alert on the actual message page before the customer types in their message to us - saying (again) that Creators are only responsible for artwork. But the font is tiny and it's a light grey colour. Any chance the tech team could make it bigger and bolder so the customer is more likely to read it?

I continue to receive questions from customers about the Review Your Design box that pops up before the customer purchases an editable item. I make all of my text editable, and if the customer does not change one line, a box pops up. The box says r to review your design and it shows the text not edited in red. But it does not ask if you would like to leave the text the way it is, it says review the following. Because it is in red and does not ask if it is ok the way it is, or mention that they did not edit it, the customer assumes there is an error and reaches out to me. Can you fix this to be clearer to the customer that is it just a reminder that they did not edit some text? I would hate for anyone to lose sales because the customer thinks there is an issue. thanks.

I think custom garden products would be hot sellers.... custom garden aprons (aprons specifically designed for garden use) with pockets for tools and without pockets custom garden signs wooden or plastic printable / customizable custom garden stones / stepping stones... these would be a blast to design custom flower pots / planters with or without saucers custom suncatchers: not specifically a garden item but I threw this one in anyway 🙂 They can be plastic or acrylic printable (acrylic would be best) round or square - or rectangle shapes. In plastic they could be printed onto the plastic in acrylic they can have a printed insert... the sane way the acrylic desk nameplates work

I opened a new store and clicked on it and got a message under my name. Since the store is for a business I run, it makes it look like the business is unsuccessful. LOL...Or, I am... 0 Followers since 2012. I think it should say underneath the store name: Opened 2024 . 0 Followers or Joined 2012 . 1800 Followers (My actual number of followers from other stores.) If not, I'd like an option to turn off the joined date and followers data, as, I don't really want this store as my real name since I'm trying to run it as part of a business. Thanks

Suggesting if the recipe book page template could please be plain and not have the (outdated) fish illustration on it. This would make it more applicable to non food type recipe books such as cocktail recipe books.

Would it be possible to offer mugs in which the design goes completely around the mug instead of stopping at the handles? It would be more esthetically pleasing to the eye. Thank you!

I think it would be more convenient if we can close the creator news after reading it, which otherwise keeps floating forever at the top of our store home (back end) It becomes quite monotonous and distracting after sometime, but if we could close it we can focus better on our new products, collections etc creative works. Thank you,

The horizontal rule, where we can adjust colour and thickness, is very useful. It would be good if we could further customise it to change to a dotted rule, and maybe a dashed rule too. Useful for where we might want to place a line for a signature or where handwritten text would be added by the buyer - such as on stationery items or stickers etc.

It would be great if we had a section in the wedding cross-sell collections for "wedding favors." it would include things like hand sanitizer, lip balm, keychains, etc. This way they would all be grouped in one spot, instead of having a bunch of different slots in the "bonus" section.

When I make new products for a gift collection, I usually want to move them to the top, and it is very annoying and time-consuming to have to do this one by one. Please allow us to select multiple products and a time to drag!

We have "Recently Used Fonts" which populates with any font you've even tried within a design. It would be really helpful as a designer (and probably as an end customer as well) if there was a fly-out for "Fonts Used in this Product" which would ONLY list the fonts currently active/in use on a product. This would save time when finalizing our designs, and also make it easier for customers when adding text boxes. : )

Every day I get at least 2-3 spam messages from people offering SEO services. The majority of them include a link to fiverr.com. I have to take the time to report and block them, but more worryingly, I have seen forum messages where people are taking time to respond to these messages, and I wonder how many designers are falling for the scam which I assume will be very costly. Could Zazzle look into a pre-block filter - like a profanity filter - where keywords from these messages such as SEO or Fiverr.com lead to the message being blocked. The messages are often identical so someone out there is selling information to scammers on how to do this.

Hello! I would love to see a feature added that allows us to upload a grouped SVG and then ungroup it into its separate layers after uploading it to Zazzle. The interface on Zazzle limits our ability to quickly align and arrange elements with absolute precision, and the zoom still makes it difficult to see those finer details. As such, it would be easy to create these in Illustrator, group together to keep the sizing/placement correct upon upload to Zazzle, then ungroup to give us the freedom to create with already perfectly scaled and aligned design. Thank you for considering!

Would love to be able to save a custom palette for background colors (like you can in Canva) instead of being able to only access the last 6 most recently used. I spent a lot of time finding the hex codes for a particular palette (like Pantone Spring/Summer 2022...) and would love to be able to easily access those colors/shades without having to rely on my handwritten cheat sheet once I get past 6 or 7 colors. (Also open to other creators' advise as to how they handle similar issues - TIA 🙂

Can we get serious about Scrapbook Paper? Digital scrapbook products are being sold all over the internet. Why isn't it implemented here with the addition of digital downloads? I created a post about the current state of scrapbook paper on Zazzle but I will post here in hopes of getting an official answer. Is scrapbook paper being phased out? If not can we get the downloadable option for scrapbook papers in sizes up to 12 X 12? (up to 12 x 12 is just a dream, I'll settle for the 8.5" x 11") Now about getting serious about scrapbook paper. I've been in the scrapbook industry for over 10 years and HUGE sales amass on the scrapbooking Holidays iNSD (interNational Scrapbooking Day) DSD (Digital Scrapbooking Day) There needs to be a category under Events & Occasions for both of these. Its really a missed opportunity not to include it.

Discussions about unscrupulous folks who are using screenshots of invitations and other flat products and then printing items elsewhere for cheaper got me thinking that one way to discourage this beyond watermarks, might be to make the product views or mockups in such a way that it discourages this sort of behavior, similar to what is done with t-shirts or other non-flat items. With invitations this could be something along the lines of angling the product just enough so that it can't be screenshotted in a flat state, adding some shadows or adding some sort of small overlay such as a thumb holding the card or some foliage that overlaps a corner. I realize that determined thieves could still find workarounds for such effects, but it would at least make it more challenging to steal the artwork.

Currently we are all seeing spam messages, few a day from fiver dot com marketers and promoters. Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the suggestion: Zazzle could create a system in CHAT that detects spam. This system would trigger when certain words or phrases are used, such as "fiver.com" or other common spam/scam phrases. Any messages containing these flagged words/phrases would be automatically sent to a designated "spam folder". Zazzle staff (or us) could then review these emails at a later time, and take appropriate action. Alternatively, the spammer could receive a notice informing them that their message has not been forwarded due to its content...try again eliminating anything NOT customer inquiry related.

For those who are not yet aware of the biggest online news story right now, Paypal have been forced to U-turn on a policy to fine their users $2,500 if they have been judged to post any 'mis-information' online... judged by Paypal, that is. For obvious reasons, people started closing their Paypal accounts in droves... and still are, despite the company saying it was 'a mistake'. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/delete-paypal-searches-spike-after-2-500-misinformation-fine-controversy-11665427396 The fact is that they do want to implement that policy, and that shows them to not be a 'real' bank, but instead a politically motivated company that their customers simply cannot trust to hold their money. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Paypal have now laid their cards on the table. The $2,500 fine fiasco follows the closing of the UK's 'Free Speech Union' account without explanation. https://a2zfacts.net/articles/paypal-closes-account-of-uks-free-speech-union-without-explanation/ No 'real' bank would be allowed to do this unless an actual crime had been committed in the country where the account holder was based. That was not the case. Again, this was politically motivated by what 'Paypal believes' is or isn't free speech. And again, no 'real' bank would be allowed to do this. I decided a few months ago to delete Paypal from my life completely because I was expecting something like the above to occur, and I firmly believe not only in the ideal of free speech, which has always been at the very core of democracy, but also because I want to know my money is in safe hands, and fully protected by the law of the land. That's what a 'real' bank offers. I believe that Zazzle has a responsibility to its creators to at least provide alternatives to online payment of earnings, when the one company that we are forced to adopt has begun closing some of its users' accounts, without any explanation, and has shown that it intends to adopt - at some point in the future - a fining policy of thousands of dollars for anyone 'it decides' has breached its own 'misinformation' rules. Zazzle currently offers an alternative of payment by check, but if the company wants to present itself as a global and forward thinking company, other online payment options are surely the only realistic policy to put in place. Currently, there is a significant backlash against Paypal and the term #BoycottPaypal is trending fast. What if Paypal were to collapse at some point in the future, or not be able to operate, for any reason? What if it now becomes the main target of hacking and is regularly offline? Who knows what the future will bring. The only sensible action is to cover your bases. Without an alternative payment option in place, Zazzle can only rely on Paypal, for better or for worse. Surely, Zazzle can easily offer alternative methods of earnings payments. After all, the company offers the usual banking alternatives for customer payments. This also raises the obvious question of why Zazzle can't simply pay my earnings into a 'real' bank account? However, if online payment systems are the only realistic option for Zazzle, then alternative options are the only true way to guarantee financial security going forward, for both Zazzle and creators! Having all your eggs in one basket is simply not a wise or realistic way to operate a global business. I believe Zazzle should look at this urgently. What do you think? Until Zazzle provide this basic provision to its creators, I am forced to look at the check payment alternative. Does anyone have any experience of this? How long will I have to wait for a check to arrive at a UK address each month?
