Here are 2 features that would really be awesome to have added to the design tool. 1. The ability to adjust transparency. 2. The ability to resize WITHOUT constraining proportions. Leave the default to constrain proportions, so customers don't accidentally destroy an image, but give an option to "free Transform." I listen to youtube videos while working and I always get the same 2 videos as ads. Someone talking about a wedding invite and a stamper thing for wedding invites. I am not engaged. I do not care. Zazzle should be advertising their new backpacks, and the t-shirts. Also people are crazy about cups for some reason. Why not show off the to go mugs? I see ads for competitors and I am honestly tempted to buy some of their shirts made by other people, meanwhile zazzle only advertises wedding stationery to single and married people.  ... View more

Sorry if this is the wrong area to post. Today there is an annoying blue banner that pops up at the top of design editing. It has to be closed every time it comes up. As a designer I know when an item is not sized right, I do miss the ability to see the yellow indicator at the edge of the image but it is easy to look to the left.. I do not know what this is good for other than annoying anyone using the editor. Please let us turn this off or have it work some way so that it does not have to be closed  in order to keep working. This is just one more bad attempt at improving the editor for the new user or those who decide to work on one item they are buying.  ... View more

I LOVE the new back-end products page with the adjustable width. My only complaint is that it only shows an abbreviated title. In the old version you could at least hover over the title to see the complete text. This is problematic for a number of reasons - mostly because I try very hard to ensure that all of my titles are unique, and now in order to check the title of a product to be sure I'm not creating a duplicate, I have to either open the individual product page or the details popup in order to see the title. It would be really helpful if we could see the whole title, and I wouldn't mind if it wrapped to another line. It would be even better if the title could include the auto-appended text so we can easily tell which product it is! With thousands of products, I'm always trying to make things easier to manage.  One thing that would help streamline things is the PRODUCT TYPE in the back end in bold type while browsing items .   BONUS WISH:  Click on the products BOLD TYPE and instantly all those products would be shown. YES....I could go through the directory and search for a product type under it's correct classification which sometimes takes a while as I'm not sure if it's under Office, Home, Sports, etc, and what subcategory. But... clicking on a bold name under a type of product and having all those items in the store displayed would be AWESOME!!!  ... I'd like to suggest there being the option for white text to have a grey drop-shadow effect added. This would be useful for text that is placed over a photograph, as a caption on a calendar page for example. I would love to see the page numbers on both the top and the bottom of the pages in the backend of my shop and in "my images".  The ability to actually choose a certain page would also be very helpful.  When you have to go through many, many pages it can be rather annoying to have to scroll to the bottom of the page and click the arrow for the next page and then the page goes back to the top and you have to scroll back to the bottom to choose the next page.  If I'm trying to get to page 65, for instance, that extra scrolling really eats up a lot of time that otherwise could be used for doing something more constructive.  Being able to choose a particular page instead of going through many pages one at a time, would also save tons of time. ... A different transparency option would be good on the tattoos. Recreating my deleted tattoos, it occurs to me that many won't work on dark skin. Surrounding white is understandably knocked out and made transparent; but enclosed white and light colours are also knocked out (EDIT: if the latter is an error, then this post should perhaps be in Technical Issues) A transparency option where enclosed light areas aren't knocked out would be good, I think it's been done on the window clings. Light text on a dark shape on dark skin would then work. The above won't solve floating dark text on dark skin, but additional preview images with light/dark skin would help customers understand what they're getting. Thanks 🙂 ... View more

So many times I'll be working on something and want to try something different with it but don't want to lose how I already have it. So I resort to copying layers, hiding/unhiding, grouping/ungrouping, which gets really unwieldy & frustrating for many different reasons. Occasionally I've even manually copied a design to another of the same blank so I could keep working on it without losing how I had it at the "i think this is it" point. So I thought tonight it would be really great if we had an option on Saved Designs to "Create a Copy" so we can keep editing while having the "original" to go back to. This would also make it easy to compare the different versions side-by-side when trying to decide which one to publish. ... View more

Not sure what it's like in the rest of the world, but in Florida, if you want to avoid 3rd degree burns on your fingers when you drive, you have a car shade in your front windshield when your car is in the driveway, parking lot, or any other place the sun can hit it.  It's be great if we could design some with graphics / photos on them that face the outside.  I personally like the ones that are made of material versus the cardboard ones.  The one I have you twist and fold and an elastic goes around it to store when you're driving. ... With the explosive addition of many new fonts, it would be nice to be able to "jump" down the font list by hitting a letter of the alphabet, instead of scrolling down the list.
